Travel through video game history
Videogame Story Paris is an extraordinary journey through the history of the pastime which has taken the world by storm in the past few decades. Presented at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 8, until September 7, it's just a short walk, or even shorter taxi journey, from Vice Versa Hotel, where each room is a personal journey.
Videogame Story Paris first takes you back to the beginning of the video game revolution in the 1970s, with more than 350 playable machines, and an example of the first console, the Magnavox Odyssey. A second zone has the very latest releases from this burgeoning global hobby. A closed-off 18+ area allows you to sample the latest adult games. In the third zone, there's a tantalizing look into the future. A 4K projection room gives visitors previews of forthcoming games in ultra-high resolution and there are presentations on cloud gaming.
